1 Introduction PHS Precision pH/mV Meter is a high-precision instrument used in laboratory to measure pH value of aqueous solution, it can be used for testing pH and mV. Using E201 composite electrode, fast reflection and good stability. The series of instruments are widely used in many subjects and fields such as scientific research, teaching, industry and agriculture.
2 Features and Specifications The instrument is mainly composed of primary machine, composite electrode, bracket and power supply. Working principle: Converting the hydrogen iron activity in solution into electric energy by the sensor (pH composite electrode ), then input the energy to the instrument by op-amp and inspection flow. A/D converter into a digital display. The photo in Figure 3-1 shows the Precision pH/mV Meter.
3.2 PH calibration 1.Start Calibration Turn on the instrument power switch and connect the electrodes. 2. Thermoregulation Press the "temperature" key to enter the temperature setting state.Adjust the temperature through the key, and press the "ok" key to save. 3. Orientation calibration Insert the electrode cleaned with deionized water into the pH6.86 standard buffer solution.Press the "orientation" key,PH indicator flashes slowly.The pH 6.86 is indicated by adjusting the "key of the instrument and press the "ok" key to save. 4. Slope calibration Remove the electrode , clean the electrode with deionized water, and then blot with filter paper.Insert the electrode into the pH4.00(or pH9.18)standard buffer solution.Press the "slope" key,PH indicator flashes fastly.The pH4.00(or pH9.18) is indicated by adjusting the key of the instrument and press the "ok" key to save. Repeat the process 3 and 4, operate until the instrument has no error, and the calibration is finished.
